A Standard(wake up rant blog)

the thing is you have to provide a standard for yourself. one that you will not compromise EVER! and when you have that standard and you don’t let anyone penetrate it NO MATTER WHAT you have nothing to worry about. and if people try to penetrate it you simply don’t position yourself around those people AT ALL. not even a little bit. EVER! there is no need…well except to feed our insecurity as human beings….but that is just a temptation..any way.

What is this need to fill our insecurity…? Why do we constantly need approval…? Why can’t we just be our own security… why can’t we be our own approval… and on a level maybe a little deeper than our clothes and haircut. Don’t get me wrong I am a guilty lover of cool design and material things. I love detail in designer________________(fill in the blank) that stuff is awesome. I am just saying there is a lot more to life than that. And we can be our own security. We must create a standard for ourself. To NEVER be compromised under any circumstances. Hold your self at a higher level. Although with that comes responsibility. You have to be your own boss. You have to be your own friend who you ask for advice. You have to be the person you turn to and say “is that ok to do?” Why cause no one knows you as well as you do. No one can tell you what you are thinking. Here’s the kicker. Is that responsibility worth it? Is it worth it to be your own boss? To say no when you want to say yes? Well personally I think so. When we build up the strength to say no to our temptations(this one being to be Insecure and irresponsible) then we truly have a choice. A choice to say I am thinking for myself. and no matter what anyone tells me I know my decision and I know why I made it and I am SECURE in my reasoning. So try sticking to your decisions. Give a shot for a week. Try it in every aspect of your life. If you are thinking a certain way… think that way ITS OK>

It is nice to get another perspective… but if this perspective changes your thinking or opinion it must be on your terms. Because you agree with that perspective… NOT because you need approval from where the other perspective is coming from. or because you don’t think your perspective measures up. IT DOES.

Stand up tall. Believe in Yourself. Look inside you for your own approval.

A little wake up ramble.
